Rick Bechtel is Executive Vice President, Head of U.S. Residential Lending for TD Bank. Based in Mount Laurel, N.J., Rick has U.S. footprint-wide accountability for all aspects of the lending business, including product and P&L management, and leading the national sales team, capital and secondary markets groups. Rick is responsible for growing TD Bank's mortgage business and sales force, while maintaining the bank's risk appetite and unique focus on the customer, as well as optimizing best-in-class technology designed to complement and increase work efficiency across all channels. With nearly 30 years of industry experience, he previously held leadership roles at CIBC, Wells Fargo and Chase. Rick is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison and earned his MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
